UPDATED! Peg Perego High Chair owners come in!

How do you get out the lap strap to clean? I usually wipe down the seat and the lap belt and take out the harness straps and the piece that comes from the center to wash by hand and soak but I can't get out the lap band I see there are screws but I turn them and turn them andd they don't come out! DS threw up all over his seat yesterday and no amount of wiping is getting out the smell Chat Icon How can i get the seat pad and the lap belt out to soak? I lost the manual! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

UPDATING TO HELP: EVERYTHING comes apart! unfasten the harness from the back and pull through, slide the lap belt through the hole, the lap strap is a little harder - you have to loosen the bolt in front and take it off b/f unscrewing the back then pull through. The seat snaps off when the straps are off and you can pull it right out! HTH!

I do not have a Peg Perego high chair (not a lot of help, I know!). However, if you go to their website you can follow the links for instruction manuals and download the manual.

Under their FAQ it says that all parts are hand washable, but do not submerge.

I'm not sure how to post a link, but this should take you to 4 manuals for the different high chairs:

I don't have your highchair, I have the Chicco and the straps aren't removable, I actually use a scrub sponge (like the scotchbrite with the abrasive side) and they come nice and clean with dishsoap/water.

we took my high chair outside and used a hose and soap on it. then let it dry outside. still a bit chilly for it, but its easier than taking the entire thing apart.

Thank you. I looked at the manual and I can't find anything about that strap in particular though...

You need to hold the nut that is on the back of the high chair and then unscrew it. To clean the straps I use to use a soft bristle brush with some oxi clean and dish soap. I had the Prima Pappa and I really hated it because of the crevices. It was such a pain to clean and DS use to hide his food and then eat it Chat Icon at every meal in their so I was ALWAYS taking it apart to clean.
