Update:
First, I would like to say that this is probably my most "successful" thread ever! Five pages and still going 
Second: My brother apparently was just as  as I with regard to our relatives and decided to send out hallmark cards (as in individual $3.99 each cards) This was mine since I like cats.

If you need "expensive" looking cards Costco sells a box of stunning looking cards for the holidays and one for everyday. I get so many compliments on the cards. The entire box has 30 cards and I got them for about 15-18 depending upon the year. I feel like they are well worth the price of the cards as individually I would easily spend $5 per card on them. I look like a champ but spend very little. Also, this year stock up on cards after the holidays are over. You can get great deals that way.

I think it's a great card and very finny: the cats are finally making themselves useful, or trying to, at least! I would be happy to receive one like that!

I don't send out Christmas cards. I think it's a waste of time, effort, money, trees, etc. I couldn't care less if someone sent me a cheap Christmas card or no card at all. I voted other.

My mom doesnt send out Christmas cards for the same reasons. Honestly I cant stand that she doesnt send out cards especially because of her reasoning (she doesnt do cards for any occasion for these reasonings either), I love knowing people are thinking of us and vice versa. I dont care what kind of card I receive even if it's a piece of paper in crayon it's the thought that counts.

And sadly, I don't think this is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of on this website.
