Upgraded Room on Royal Caribbean??? Is it possible?
Okay, so after all my posts, you know I'm leaving for a cruise this Sunday. I went and did the online check-in and I noticed that my cabin assignment is different.
We originally booked a balcony cabin, and NOW we have a Junior Suite WITH a balcony!!! It's something like a 50 square foot difference in the size of the room AND the balcony is much bigger, too!
We've cruised with RC before, so maybe they upgraded us? Is this even possible? 
Don't get me wrong - I'm not complaining!!!

It is possible... if the ship is not completely booked you will get upgraded. We have been upgraded before on Carnival, but not to a junior suite with a balcony! That sounds awesome!

Just don't fall off the balcony!
My parents have been alumni or holland american and always get upgraded. Maybe thats what they did for you on Royal Caribbean!

I have been on many cruises, and I have never been upgraded. Also, I have sailed on the same line numerous times. You are lucky!

I have never had my cabin Upgraded. But you hear all the time that people do!

It is possible that they upgraded as you are a return customer & also bc the ship might not be booked up!

Its a website devoted to cruisers maybe you can check to see your "roll call" and see if you can meet your fellow crusiers

Usually an upgrade is done when the cruise line hasnt sold all the cabins. So it's possible the ship isnt full.
