Upgrading from small to large bottles
DD is currently taking 5oz per feeding and will soon need to "upgrade" to the larger size bottles. We are currently use the Born Free 5.5oz bottles and Similac Advance Early Shield (in case that matters). Lately I've noticed that DD is pretty gassy when she gets home from daycare and I'm thinking it has to do with the bottles/not burping well enough. She isn't in pain from the gas...just a little annoyed.
So my question is - if you DC was/is gassy, what bottles did you find helped? I'm wondering if we should just get the bigger Born Free bottles or possibly switch to a different type. Please recommend your bottles! (We prefer plastic over glass)
TIA!

Re: Upgrading from small to large bottles
We use Born Free for DS, and I am pretty happy with those bottles. I used Avent earlier and they would leak all the time.
I have heard great reviews for Dr. Brown's but there are too many pieces for me.

PLAYTEX DROP-INS. Helped SO much. we started with the Dr. Browns and so much gas. We switched and he was a new baby.

Are all of the pieces for the Dr. Brown bottles dishwasher-safe?
We used the Playtex drop-ins when she was getting BM and they seemed to give her more gas I still have tons of 8oz liners..maybe I should try again.

Yep! I actually don't find all of the pieces to be a PITA -It's all I know, actually, since these were the only bottles we've ever used.

Re: Upgrading from small to large bottles
We use Dr. Brown's. DD is a much calmer eater since we switched to them. There are 2 extra parts to the Dr. Brown's bottles, and I avoided them in the beginning, because we don't have a dishwasher, but I've gotten used to it.
I'm seriously considering hanging on to just those and using them for DC#2 (if there is one) and skipping the smaller bottles all together.
