thanks ladies - I can't really narrow it down!
he's a doctoral student in music, she's in med school, starting a new rotation 2 days after the "reception".
They were married in a private ceremony in a NYC park last month and they're having a reception next week at his parents' estate in Hampton Bays.
They said no gifts, but I can't do that...you know?
I thought a GC to a local place would be nice.
They don't have much time together because of their education schedules, but they live on the upper west side in a tiny studio.
I guess someplace where I could get a $100 GC and they wouldn't have to lay out much money for dinner for 2.
(I'm not going to the reception, but I want to send something. They're 3rd cousins.)

is it even possible to get a dinner around the price?
should I up it?
or maybe get a new idea altogether......
like i said, i'm not going, so i don't want to go too crazy, and I can't really afford much more right now

and 100 bucks will do the trick for two people.

they have all different...
from steaks to pasta (big italian section) and a TON of seafood... the seafood there is to DIE for.
i think pretty much anyone would be able to find a few things on their menu to eat-- and i'm pretty picky myself.
