If you saw your driver do this to your package would you be mad?

if it was a legitimate package...yes. but from the angle that it was filmed, it could have been garbage... who knows, maybe it was his take-out box from lunch? or any empty box or other packing materials to throw out?

Or a plastic bag with tshirts in it. I get shipments all the time in those heavy duty plastic bags.

With that said I do all my shipping with UPS. I never have an issue with them and my stuff gets there fine, just as long as I pack it properly.

that's how DHL always delivered to my house- and i'm not even joking! even a designer watch that I bought as a gift. The watch box arrived dented, but the watch was safe.

Um, yes. T Shirts or a ceramic knick knack... they shouldn't be so lazy as to THROW the package. Seriously.

It looks soft, like clothes or papers in an envelope or something. But still, I'm not surprised at the laziness.

The UPS guy in our building gets off the elevator outside our window, always slams the bottom of his metal hand truck against the marble floor which we can only assume is his way of saying LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME!

He comes in and never, ever places packages down. Always slams them on a desk or the floor. I kept my mouth shut because I never give people who scream for attention what they want.

Till one day I got a box from HP with a big dent and hole in it - on the corner of the box! That's not easy to do. I looked at the box, at him, and said, what the hell happened? He said, "If you want to refuse it, don't sign. If you do want it, file a claim." I said it better NOT be damaged, do you SEE Hewlett Packard name on the side? This is computer equipment! He said, well, it was like that when I got it. I said really... Because I see the way you throw around our packages. He just repeated about filing a claim.

The guy is a first class @SSHOLE and I'd complain about him but just know ALL our packages would come in damaged then.

I've known two other UPS drivers like this - one of them was my landlord and even told me to never ship anything close to 75 pounds (the weight limit) because they will damage it on purpose to teach you a lesson because they're hard to lift.

my MIL buys a ton of clothes from QVC and they come in these soft packs that could easily be thrown just as this guy did and nothing would happen to the package. A matter of fact, I think I have pulled in their driveway and seen him throw it onto the porch from halfway down the driveway.

Its a bag. No big deal.
