For our all of our pregnancies we've alway's had the same girl give us our sonogram. This will be our last child so on Wen. we went for our last sonogram. I went out and bought the sonogram girl a thank you card and wrote how much she meant to us. Nino even took the camera so we could take a picture with her as a keepsake. Low and behold she want there! Nino wanted to leave but I told him lets just stay. It was a horrible experience. She was jabbing my stomch with the camera, mummbling things under her breath... After everything was said and done I asked her if we had any pictures to take home? She said no, your not here for pictures your here to make sure your baby is ok. ***!? I'm so upset that this is my last child and just had my last sono and I have nothing to look at.

I would go back again. Whata horrible last experience. Someone shoud slap that BYiotch!!!! At least make a big deal complaint.

I would complain and demand another one - they should give you a picture!! Everyone knows how special those pictures are to expecting parents. I'm sorry you had to go through that!

I have an appointment with my OBGYN on Wen. I'm going to mention to him what happened. I have to go to a different office for my sono. I doubt they'll send me for another sono just because I'm not happy but we will see.

They usually attach your sono pictures to your file, maybe they can give you one. I'm sorry that girl was mean, they should know better!

That's awful, I'm sorry you had to go through that. I can't believe the way you were treated. I would definately complain, you want that picture so go ahead and ask, you have nothing to lose. Good luck.

i love my sono girl too!! i didnt realize how attached i was to her until i had to see someone else a few weeks ago... they definitely each have their own technique!

I can't believe that they didn't give you any pics and that the tech said that to you. Even when I went for an "emergency" appointment at the OB once they did a sono and gave me a pic to take home. Most of the pics lately aren't very clear but it's still nice to have. I would complain.

That is so terrible . Ours is great, she gives us between 7-10 everytime we go (yesterday I was just being checked b/c of spotting and she gave me 7).

You should absolutely complain.
I've never been PG, but I go for frequent sonograms to manage my cycles with PCOS. The sono tech I have here in NC is excellent, but when I went to Nassau-Suffolk Ob-Gyn, the tech there was such a B****!!!!! She didn't understand the concept of being "gentle" with the wand, and every time I went, here's how the conversation would go:
Me: "Um...could you please be a little more gentle?"
Her: "Why...are you a virgin?" 
Me: "Uhhhh no...I'm married--but...sensitive area, ya know?"
Her: "Umm...ok....sorry" and then she'd proceed to be just as rough as she had been 
I complained to my GYN that she's rude, nasty, and that frankly, her "bedside manner" sucks. I don't know if they ever did anything, but it felt good to tell someone what an a** I was dealing with.

Thank you for all your responses. This was the first time I ever posted and I really didnt expect much. So thank you for your concern and understanding. I will give you all an update on Wen. after I see my OB.
