upstate area town recommendations.
DH and i are looking to move upstate to a coop or condo. nothing too far from the island. his new job will be placing him any where between yonkers and orange county. We are not familiar with any towns up there and wanted to know if anyone could recommend a good neighborhood for us to look in.
we have friends in Chester so we will look there and DH went to Pace University in westchester and we know the surrounding area is nice so we just wanted some help if anyone has anything to offer!!

I keep hearing good things about chester too. my friend owns a home there and he keeps trying to get us to move up there too. he's a single dad and very happy with the schools and the community. good luck!
