Urge to clean
So I got my BFP this week and for some reason I had the urge to clean since last week before we found out. Then this morning I was up at 8am cleaning out wha twould be baby's room.
Anyone else go through this when they initially found out-I guess its like nesting moms go through at the end before delivery

geez--I do not remember..I might have--I already have two kids I amalllllllllllllways cleaning, although its like peeing in the wind.
I know u are soppose to get it towards the end.
I'm waiting for that spurt anxiously.

I don't know if it's because my husband and I haven't cleaned this house appropriately in a while (what am I saying, I haven't cleaned but I haven't nagged him to clean). But this weekend I was on a rampage. I've been so tired too. Are you feeling that way too??

no i am too tired to have that energy........all i want to do is sit on the couch and take naps but this is early in preg. so i think thats why

I was on a rampage too-We literally did half the stuff we always say we are going to do every weekend. He wants to get everything in order for his babies lol(me included)

maybe you're nesting? I heard that women often clean and organize when they find out they are PG and right before they give birth and they call it nesting. You are preparing your home for the baby...I think birds do this that's were the name comes from. I don't know if this is true or just a silly wifes tale.

Not me. I wish the nausea would go away long enough for me to get some work done...forget about cleaning...my apt is in total disarray.

I know right before I gave birth to DD I went through a nesting phase and sure enough she came at 37 weeks.

Yeah....no....I still haven't felt that at 25 weeks. In fact, I never usually have the engery to do my usual chores around the house. We just started doing something to the baby's room last weekend. I give you a lot of credit!

I am running on pure adrenaline. Plus I am barely a few weeks so the nausea hasnt kicked in-then it will be a different story

i did this one time only during my first pregnancy: the evening i went into labor.
though i have caught myself frequently dying to clean, do laundry and doing dishes i normally leave for DH this time around.

This was me exactly. I was EXHAUSTED, and a little nauseous, so I just wanted to be in bed!!

Sounds like nesting! I went thru my entire first pregnancy like that. The nesting urge has yet to hit this time around - and I only have about 6 weeks left.....
