URGENT Help needed by the rescue org we adopted Ozzie from:
I figured this would be a good way to help spread the word. This comes from the organization where we adopted Ozzie. They are an amazing group of people who are SO dedicated to rescuing dogs and finding the RIGHT forever home!
"Please tell your friends and share this plea around fb (you can copy and repost if you don't mind): BBAR DESPERATELY needs NYC foster homes. We cannot save ANY more dogs - not one more life will be saved - until we get some of the dogs we have now into forever homes and get some more fosters signed up. Eva has a dozen fosters at the farm and if she collapses from exhaustion we will be in big trouble. We NEED fosters. Please tell your friends - if anyone ever wanted to foster to email [email protected] for an application."
Unfortunately Ozzie isn't great with other dogs so we can't foster, but I really wanted to help spread the word. Thanks!!!

Can you only foster for a specific amount of time? Or do they make you keep the animal until the permanent home is found?

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't see why you couldn't tell them that you have a set time that you can foster. Anything is better than nothing. I'm going to add the link to their FB page to my OP so people can check it out and post to them directly. Thanks!

Oh, I see they only have dogs. I was looking into a possibility of fostering a kitten. Thank you anyway.
