Urologist for my husband

Can anyone recommend a urologist for my husband between Smithtown and Port Jeff?

Husbands test came back for low motility and my OB wants him to see a specialist.

Thanks so much!!

I don't have a recommendation for you on LI but I wanted to say that make sure he sees someone who specializes in male infertility. Just going to a urologist isn't good enough.

Thanks so much! My OB recommended someone and he has a month wait for new patients. Even though my OB suggested him you never know if they're that great.

DH saw Sarah Girardi. She was great. When I had a question she called me herself and spoke to me candidly about ttc and if.

I think a month wait is pretty common. And remember that it takes at least 3 months to see any change with MFI, so you will have to be patient. MFI is not a quick fix usually.

I know that its not within the area you wanted, but DH just saw Dr. Sarah Girardi this past week. She was absolutely fantastic -- very knowledgeable and great bedside manner. She answered all of DH's questions and showed genuine concern -- he didn't get the feeling that he was just a number or 1 of thousands of her patients. Good luck! Oh also, he had to wait for about 4-5 weeks for his first appointment.
