Urologist recommendation?
I'm really kicking myself now  We found out 2 years ago that DH has a varicocele in each testicle. We did IVF, which resulted in my son, but I wanted him to get it fixed so that we could possibly get pregnant on our own from there. It seems I am a complete idiot (so is my DH) and we FORGOT ABOUT IT!!!! I guess the excitement of the pregnancy gave me tunnel vision, and it was put on the back burner never to be thought about again, at least until now 
I want to speak to DH about getting it fixed after our next IVF cycle. Can someone recommend a urologist in Nassau? He has seen Dr. Mellinger before but he wasn't very happy with him.

Dr. Sarah Girardi in Manhasset - nice bedside manner, professional and heard she had a great reputation ( friend and mother recommended her to us).

We used one in Suffolk and one in the city. We liked both. Let me know if you want either name. I have a friend that used the doctor in the previous post and was happy.

My DH had the surgery four months before our last IVF (which resulted in my DS). I've been able to get pg naturally twice since then (but unfortunately lost both).
Not sure if it was the surgery...but it might've helped! DH's urologist is in the city....but if you would like his name please let me know.

The nicest, funniest, friendliest Dr. for DH (he hates going to the Dr.) was Dr. Ring in Freeport. His office looks small and simple, but he's seriously an awesome guy.

Agreed. DH and I both used her and she was the nicest an so professional.

My DH saw Dr. Bruce Gilbert and really liked him, after seeing others. He had the bilateral varicocele with Dr. Gilbert and it went well. Any other questions, feel free to FM.

We LOVED Dr Ring in Freeport. He came highly recommended by our GP as a friendly guy who is funny and easy to get along with. DH loved him
