Urologist recommendations
Hi Everyone 
After following this board for a few months now I thought it was time to introduce myself. My name is Alex, 27yo, TTC for over 1.5 yrs. We've just started the diagnostic testing with my GYN and so far 2 of my husbands SA have come back abnormal. The first had low morphology (2%) and the second had low morphology (6%) with elevated WBC. She recommended a urologist Dr. Lumeran but his next appt isn't until the 3rd week in January. My husband is anxious about the high WBC and would rather not wait that long. Can someone please recommend a urologist they've had a good experience with?

Urologist recommendations
Welcome, hope your stay on here is a short one
Dr. Sheynkin came highly recommended by my former and current RE. My DH has low motility as well so we were sent to him, but unfortunately he wasn't covered by our insurance. We were able to get an appointment quickly with him, so it may be worth checking out if he would rather not wait.

We used Dr. Joseph Alukal at NYU. He was absolutely wonderful.

My husband used Dr. Gilbert at LIJ and liked him very much. The website is very informative.

ETA: DH saw him at the Smith Institue which is affiliated with LIJ.

Did you ask about any of the other docs in Lumerman's practice? We have seen them all - and they are all very nice. With the elevated WBC I agree that you probably want to get into see someone sooner rather than later. Oshinsky, Edelman, etc.
Sara(h?) Girardi is another urologist that we saw.
Bruce Gilbert is a great Urologist who specializes in male infertility. He doesn't accept insurance though, so he can be $$$. But I think it is worth it to at least go for a consultation.
