U.S. lifts some sanctions against N. Korea -- and drops them from list of "state sponsored terrorist" countries
Cnn Story Link
Basically N. Korea handed over its nuclear weapon program declaration to China, after urgence from the U.S. and Bush has decided to lift many sanctions (not all) from N. Korea to allow some trade to flow between countries.
Thoughts?

It's a step in the right direction, but I think little will really change. The human rights violations are still rampant and the press and television are all controlled by the gov't. That's not going to change anytime soon.
I wasn't a huge fan of Bush's 6 nation talks - I preferred the one on one talks that Albright (under Clinton) engaged in - but I'm happy to be proved wrong about this policy being a success in the future.
