Has anyone used USA Mortgage Bankers for their mortgage? Were you happy with them?

Never heard of them.
But god... I am hoping that gas prices will jump to $4 a gallon. That will for sure shoot the rates down even lower than they are today.
Just shoot them down long enough so I can lock in.

Me too  but I wont be locking in for a couple of weeks. I was reading an article today about how the gas prices are affectng the interest rates. I would never have linked the two but it makes sense.

Crappy Economy = People not spending money = Lower mortgage rates
People will DEFINITELY be spending less the higher the gas prices go. Like I said... give me a few days window of the city hitting $4 a gallon.
Hell... give me a 24 hour window of $4 a gallon! Thats all I need! 
I almost locked in at 5.375 today... but I held off. I am hoping to get it down to 5%.
If not its not a biggie... cause I already have an open application with Chase for 5.75 with zero lender's fees and zero points.

Don't worry - I locked a mortgage rate in today - so now they are SURE to go down! It always works that way!!

Well just about every expert out there said the rates were not going up... at least for this week.
That also means they may not go down either.
And that also means they could be full of it too. LOL

What is the rate at now? Danielle and I locked in last week before the change was made on friday to the rates. We were afraid of the rates going up over 6% again. like last time.
this *****....Even though we got a decent rate....5.3% would of been nicer

I was quoted 5.375 yesterday with zero points and about $1800 of lender fees.
I am waiting it out though. I am hoping for 5.25 or less. If I can't get that.... i'll stick with my 5.75 at Chase.
