users of Bum Genius all in ones or those that tried them and found them too thick please come in
I really like the absorbency of the all in ones, even for overnights (with both liners in) but they are SUPER thick. I think they make Luce's jammies too small b/c they take up more of the material
did anyone have to go up a size in clothes so that the diapers would fit?
or
is there a slimmer profile diaper that has equal absorbency. I did like thirsties but they don't take nearly as much output Luce pees like his mama!
TIA

Are you putting in the thick pad and one of the thin ones? When J&M were that age we were just using the thin ones (newborn inserts), and I think maybe we doubled up during the night. Is Luce STTN, or do you change him during the night?
Now we use the thick ones and two thin ones which seem to work pretty well for overnight, but it does make the jammies a little difficult to zip up.
In clothes we haven't had to go up a size in pants - but I have read on some forums that people have done this.
I've used fuzzi bunz also, but for overnight I think the bum genius are better because the velcro gives you a more snug fit than the snaps.

With the thirsties did you put in a liner for extra absorbency? Thats what we use with Alexa...
She still has bubble butt though... Its even harder cause she is so freakin small but the diaper giver her a HUGE a$$

I didn't realize thirsties had additional liners!! the didn't come with the sample I got from Jillians Drawers. I could try that too.
he's not STTN so I do change him when I think he's wet, but I let it go if the diaper isn't saturated and he's fallen back to sleep.
Lauren, did you like fuzzi buns for day?

They are fine for during the day, except they are not AIO, so you'll have to buy bigger sizes as he grows.

Glad to see others Cloth Diaper
We used Fuzzi Bunz for our last DC and for sure clothes seem tighter but never had to go up in size...
When we bought Fuzzi Bunz a few years ago they did not have the One Size- Birth to Toddler ones they offer now

I use Bum Genius at night and yes DS but is big and I have to stretch his jamies to fit. He wears 12 - 18 months and it's a tight fit, but it does work. Have you tried using hemp liners. They are supper thin and trim. Maybe use a newborn insert and a hemp insert. The hemp doesn't look like much but it is super absorbant.
