Using a "pen" on the iPad?

Does anyone know of a cheapish pen to use on the iPad?

My daughter needs one for her classes, using the finger isn't precise enough for some of the writing.

I got a 'pen' when I voted that allows me to use it on the iPad but it has a sponge tip which makes it hard to write neatly.

I looked online and the apple pen is over $100! wtf

Can't they use the technology for those sponge tips and put it into a normal tip so I can use it like a pen?

U can try a sharpie. It seems to have worked for people in some states . Sorry, couldn’t resist.

My friend has found some at dollar tree believe it or not. She bought 12 of them for her class. Maybe try there?

To be honest it was for a kindergarten class so the pens might have been a little thicker than usual
