Using someone else's pass at BJs?
I was asked to pick up a cake for work at BJs...I don't have a pass, so someone else gave me theirs.
Do you get turned away if it isn't your card? There is a picture on it that bears no resemblance to me...AT ALL...

I dont' even have a picture on my pass because the day I got it their camera was down. I don't think they even look at the picture of you.

Thanks! I didn't want to wait on their horrible lines and get turned away.

We lost ours and DH had to use his mothers card - they didn't care .. I don't think they even notice. My friend does this all the time they split the membership fee and then share the card ( they look nothing alike) never had a problem

If you pay in cash you'll be fine!
ETA: Even if they realize it's not your card, they won't turn you away, they'll just charge you a 5% fee

It says you need a one-day pass (you can get it there) "One Day Shopping Passes carry a 15% non-member surcharge over and above BJ’s listed prices on all merchandise except alcohol, gas and prescription drugs."
15%!

It's a $50 huge one, so just $7.50. Oh well, won't be an issue if I can just get away with the pass. Breaking the law, breaking the law!

Doesn't it feel good to be so bad?
Just go on the line with whicever cashier looks the most overwhelmed. they won't care..if they do, start freaking out about how you have to pick it up for your boss and she'll kill you and blah blah...

Re: Using someone else's pass at BJs?
I always hand my membership card to my mom behind me in line and she uses it. She charges her order sometimes too. We've never had a problem (except a moral one I guess!)

You're actually allowed to bring one guest, so it's no moral problem either!

Re: Using someone else's pass at BJs?
I always use my Moms at BJ's and so does my SIL. I think Price CLub is a little stricter. BJ's they don't even look at it--at least the Levittown one.
