UV Gel Manicture

I got it done for the first time last night by my regular manicurist. I've had acrylic wraps for who knows how many years, and wanted to try something different. It ended up being $70 - but I was curious to know how much others are paying.

I got it done for the wedding & LOVE IT!!!! I paid $65 for them and 2 weeks later they still look beautiful & shiny!

Chris, the 1st time is usuually around that price and then you get normal fillins for $30.

I paid $80 for my set for my wedding and let me add that taking those suckers off was HORRIBLE!! They aint kidding about that UV gel....its strong and very,very hard to get off. I think I soaked for 2hrs and then they had to file them off...Im still recovering from that.

holy crap! I don't think I could pay that much for anything nail related. How long does it last??

I paid $65 to get them done the first time

then $35 for a filling- they last about 3 weeks

but I just took them off b/c they weren't always coming out good- depending on who did them- and I was sick of spending so much money on my nails and time at the salon

my nails are in really BAD shape now- they keep breaking

i got them done for my wedding, and like Beth, they ruined my nails. they chipped after two days.it took months for them to recover.

I miss my gel nails.

They looked so natural and lasted forever! (my silks and/or acrylics were always breaking on me. I think I broke 1 gel the entire year I had them on.)

I believe I paid $80+ for a new set.

I love my Gel nails, only paid $45 for the full set and $30 fill ins every three weeks. After three weeks they look almost as good as when they are done, except you can seen where they've grown.
