I don't have my notes with me, but I had to take an orientation class at my OB's office after I got my BFP, and I think the nurse said regular manicures were okay, but that was it. I really don't remember though, since I only get regular manicures anyway.

Yea, see I was thinking that the UV might not be good.

The problem is I am having a hard time getting them off bc they are not like regular wraps or tips!!!Chat Icon Chat Icon

Yeah they make all new mom's to be take this 1 hour "info" session with the nurse that runs the child birth classes.

I live out of state, so it probably wouldn't do you much good!

I get the UV perm french all the time, but I never heard of it being bad during ttc or pg. I plan to continue during ttc and once I get pg. (unless I hear otherwise of course!)

I get my nails done all the time too. Some of my friends have told me it is just not recommended (or maybe just there opinion) to be sitting PG in a nail salon with all of those fumes every week or so.

Not sure if any of those chemicals they use during fill-in's can be considered harmful.

Everything in this world can be considered harmful that we come in contact with!
