Vacation Location questions . . .
We are trying to book a one year anniversary trip. We are trying to stay within a budget. First of all, has anyone ever been to Acapulco- did you like it?
Also any suggestions for nice, inexpensive beach resorts (does not have to be all-inclusive, but a location that is affordable to dine in) we really want to just be able to eat drink and lay out on the beach, yet be able to do fun things at night and not go broke
Am I being too picky-

there is NO SUCH THING as too picky after your HM(s)!!!!
I'm sorry, I don't have many suggestions, but I didn't like acapulco. It didn't seem very safe to me (outside the resorts, of course).
how about Aruba?

But it is not completely ruled out, however the more I think about it the more I get nervous about going back to Mexico during the summer . . .

if you want something not too expensive I would def. check out Dominican Republic... Punta Cana especially has good prices and you can get good deals... we have been to DR twice, both times stayed at Iberostar hotels.... nothing but amazing things to say about them...

Re: Vacation Location questions . . .
We went to Secrets Punta Cana and loved it. We are staying at the brand new Riu Ocho Rios in February. Check that out too.
