vacation question about next school year
I know that some years we get off a week and a half for passover and easter. Some years they dont coincide and we get good friday off in one month and then a week off for passover. I work in the city and the calender is not out yet for the 2007-2008 school year.Can anyone who worls in li or whereever and their calenders came out tell me when you are off for both holidays. i know in 2008 easter is early and passover is later but i need to know thew exact dates we have off. thanks

In my district we have a long weekend in March for Easter (Mar 20-24)
And a week in April for Passover (April 21-25).

I teach on LI and same here next year too! We have off for Feb, that long weekend in March, then April. But school runs to June 27th next year too! That is a week later

I guess it depends on when you start and the number of teaching days are in your school calendar. I teach on LI and on June 26th.
