Vacation Suggestions
Does anyone have any suggestions on where DH and I can go for vacation this summer? Anywhere that doesnt require a plane to get to and where just a few days is enough?

I love Cape May and Block Island. Easy to get to, relaxing and you don't need more than a few days

Re: Vacation Suggestions
Just got back from Philly and had a great time - would totally go back. It was about a 2.5-3 hour drive.
DC & Boston are great towns...Nantucket & Cape Cod as well.
I loved Montreal but we flew - it's a pretty long drive for a quick weekend.
Saratoga, NY is a great town too.

Re: Vacation Suggestions
Ocean city Maryland! It has a great beach and a beautiful board walk. Every night these big machines come on to the beach and pack down the sand and clean all the sea weed. There is tons of restaurants and stores, and a cute amusement park at the end of the board walk. We stayed at the Dunes Manor Hotel which I highly recommend. It was located at the end of the board walk on the beach. IMO it was the nicest hotel on that strip. Also, it only took 5 hours to get too, and was a easy drive.
If you want to make the drive, Myrtle beach is also a great place. There is a lot more to do then Ocean city, but the beach is not as nice.Only because it is eroding. It is still nice though. We stayed in MB for 7 days and did not get board once.
