Vacationing in Lancaster/staying at Willow Valley/need attraction feedback (other than Dutch Wonderland)
I think we are going to go back to Willow Valley again this year in early June even though the prices went up alot.
Last year we stayed 3 days/2 nights and just stayed at the resort one day and the other day's activities were at the Strasburg RR.
This year I'm trying to think of a different activity day but I think DS is too little for Dutch Wonderland. He is 2 1/2. What if he goes on a ride and he doesnt like it and freaks out and tries to get off while its moving or if I'm on with him and he wants it to stop and we have to wait it out until its over... I dont know. Maybe next year for the amusement park thing.
Anyway, I was looking at the tourism site and wondered if anyone had any feedback on these places.
If you never heard of them, I guess they all sound like good places for families to visit.

I am planning the same trip and I think you are wrong about DW not being good for your DC. That age is perfect!
i heard that construction is going on at WV so I am looking into Eden Suites
We will take a trip to DW, the Hershey Zoo America and the outlets

From what I've heard, your DC is the PERFECT age for Dutch Wonderland. I've heard its ideal for toddlers. I think you're overthinking the "what ifs". Give it a shot. If he isn't into the rides, there are other things to do.

I think your son is a perfect age for DW. We have been going since my oldest son was 18 months. We go every year in May. My other son was only 16 months last year when we went and he had a blast. I don't think you can go wrong with DW!

I think thats the perfect DW age.
Also, I wanted to do hands onhouse, and probably still will, but I heard its VERY small and overcrowded. I think I read about it on tripadvisor.

I agree with everyone else-your DC is the perfect age.
As for if he doesn't like a ride-they stop the ride to let kids off so don't worry!

Yep, I agree too. 2 and a half is perfect for DW. We took my kids there last summer (one was just under 2 and a half) and it was perfect. Make sure to bring a bathing suit for the water area or a change of clothes if he gets wet. Many of the rides are good for parents to go with kids but some are just kids. Enjoy!

I wanted to add a link to this place too. It looks like so much fun but it wont be open yet when we will be in PA.

I remember going to the red caboose motel and eating there when I was little..its was so fun b/c the car moved...(there was a hotel too) I have no idea about the quality, etc. now, but it stuck with me!

Yes, I saw an ad for the new Double Tree hotel and all the new additions. Do you think it will be too noisy or things will be closed because of construction?
Info on the construction
