Vaccines mandated for kids now? almost
Apparently our wonderful mayor said starting next week all kids 5 and up have to have at least one shot to participate in extracurricular activities or to eat out.
Surprised this isn't getting more air time.

Yep. I had to scramble to get DD an appt to get the vaccine. She's in choir and can't participate without it.

This is heartbreaking Even if its not reported to be the issue. 2 young men just collapsed during exertion and died. One being a high school student and another a probationary fireman. The student is questionable but I can guarantee the fireman had to get the shot to get into the academy. When it has been stated that myocarditis has been seen in men after getting the shot. How does this not make one question whether or not to get this shot? Covid is not killing our kids but I seriously question the effects of this shot. People talk about wonky cycles but when asking other experiences with wonky cycles even though stated the shot could cause wonky cycles lets not attribute wonky cycle to the shot. Do I really want to give my child something that could seriously cause harm???

Get ready, if there isn’t enough push back it’s coming to Long Island. Sell now while the market is high and get the F@ck out of this state. Even when all this passes it opened my eyes to what this state is all about.

Isn't this asshole out of office yet? Is he trying to just cause as much damage before he leaves as possible? Like when people get evicted from a house so they destroy it to spite the bank before leaving ?

You can shop in NYC without a vaccine, you can't dine, or attend entertainment events indoors in NYC without a vaccine though. So the kids can still go into a store.

he can, but he likely won't. he's supported the mandates...maybe not all of them, but I think he'll leave the ones in place.

yeah, he can crawl away with the billion dollars that his wife "lost"
The biggest thing with this new mandate isn't just the dining, etc its the after school.
Without the vaccine you can't attend after school sessions.

If they really cared about protecting kids they'd start by doing a GD something, anything, about all the school shootings. Kids can be shot in a movie theater, but they can't catch a virus there. The government will lay down its life to make sure they're safe from coronavirus, just not things like bullets.
