Vacuum recs needed asap please
My vacuum crapped out on me last night as I was cleaning for Christmas (we're hosting). So now I have to run out and buy a new one today. We have a lot of pets, so it has to be something that is great with pet hair...does anyone have any recommendations?

I recently bought the Dyson canister. We have a dog that sheds a TON and all tile & wood floors. I love the attachments & it really gets the pet hair.

Dyson Animal...We LOVE it and I can honestly see a marked difference in the cleanliness of the carpet versus our Hoover.

When shopping or asking about a vac always tell the sales person or us on here what kind of flooring you have in your home. That will help them or us more in picking the best one for you.

Every independent list of reviews I've read put the Dysons as a middle-of-the-pack vacuum. They are never the highest rated. There's a few Eurekas, some Bissels, and other brands that are less than half the price of any Dyson, but are much more effective at picking up hair and dirt.
I have a Eureka Boss series vacuum.
