Re: Vaginal contraceptive film
i hadn't heard of it either! it's a small square film that you fold twice and insert, it has spermicide in it that activates in 15 min after insertion and then just disintegrates. 94% effective.

Re: Vaginal contraceptive film
I had an allergic reaction to it. It was UGLY!! I used it as a back up years ago when I had to take antibiotics while on the pill. It was a horrific experience. If it wasn't for the allergic reaction it would have been a good product You pop it in, wait 20 minutes and then enjoy. But my god the burning and irritation was so not worth it. It hurt too much to even have sex

Re: Vaginal contraceptive film
honestly dont know...btw read the packet..... its not very effective as a contraceptive..its pretty much just spermicidal lube in a film form that melts in the vajajay.... so if you were comfy with just spermicide go for it
but i wouldnt

Re: Vaginal contraceptive film
I've used it with no problems. With that said I used it while we weren't ttc but didn't want to go on pill or use condoms but if we got pg it would've been fine. I wouldn't use it as a sole method if I absolutely didn't want to get pg.
