Valentine's Day---what are you making for DH?
I was thinking about making somethign sweet for sure but not sure what?
If you are cooking instead of eating out...what will you be cooking for dinner?

We're both on WW (and probably won't see each other tomorrow) so I made chicken stir fry tonight. Very different from my usual cooking and really refreshing and delicious!

Re: Valentine's Day---what are you making for DH?
Grilled steak and I'm not sure what else. I got a little off track and made the crescent rolls and roasted red potatoes tonight that I had planned to make tomorrow! Probably spinach salad, green bean casserole, and more crescent rolls since DH loves them. Dessert will be brownie sundaes.

Re: Valentine's Day---what are you making for DH?
Seared scallops over sauteed spinach w/bacon. Rolls w/butter & fresh rosemary. For dessert, I ordered DH brownies from Vermont Brownie company (we saw a Bobby Flay throwdown LOL). I also made red velvet cake pops for work and I saved a few for us.

Re: Valentine's Day---what are you making for DH?
Steak au Poivre with Crash Hot Potatoes
I'm not sure of the cut yet- I'm thinking Cote de Beouf or Filet Mignon. I have to see what's available at the butcher. I may just end up with Rib Eye from the US or an Entre Cote. We'll see...

Re: Valentine's Day---what are you making for DH?
I was honestly thinking of taking him out since I couldn't decide. I gave it one more shot and opened my cookbooks and magazines.
I came across a recipe in food networks magazine for surf and turf. I'm going to make Giadas risotto with it.
