Valentine's Day and gifts for preschool teachers

I was wondering if those who have children in preschool get a little gift for the teacher and teacher assistants for Valentine's Day. I was thinking of doing this and now I am thinking maybe I should just leave it alone.

Loey's not in preschool but we got his 2 daycare teachers a little box of chocolates each and then I made cookies and mini cupcakes for his "class"

i got the teacher and 2 assistants a card and nice box of chocolates--not the cheap ones.

As a Pre-K teacher, it's always a nice gesture. Out of 20 children, maybe 3-4 give us little gifts.

Gracie decided to make her teachers Valentine's & I'm making cookies.

I bought two cut flower bouquets from Trader Joe's today to give to the teachers tomorrow along with cards.

This is the first year that I am. I got all the teachers a $10 gc to DD and wrote out a little card.

I'm a teacher and little things like this are genuinely appreciated! Both kids seem to be having a good year and I wanted to express that.

My Ds made his class a little baggie with a valentine card, lollipop and some hershey kisses, we included his two teachers the preschool director as well.

We made up little gift bags with some candy and a card in each. Nothing big... just a little something.

Cards for the kids and a little box of chocolates with card for the teachers.

Thanks for all your responses. So I bought my DC's preschool teachers and the assistants small Russell Stovers chocolate hearts. Then I bought each one of their classes a box of Entermann's Valentine's Day Pop'ems.

I used to get 2 dozen roses in the city..individually wrapped each one in cellophane and attached a tag. Lucas would hand one out to every staff member we passed on our way in and out of daycare that day.

Today Gregory has his first full day and Lucas has a transition day at the new center so I wasn't sure it would be appropriate so early on so we wrote out cards and Lucas made pictures in each for his teachers.
