Varicocele
Does anyone have any experience with their DH having a varicocele? If so did you get pregnant right away or did it take time? Did he have surgery...etc? Thanks for any info.

also try the IF board, some ladies there have DH's with this who can help .

my ex has it and he has fathered 3 children (including my DD)
actually he has gotten women pregnant at least 7 times that I know of

varicocele in men reminds me of endometriosis in women- if present, it MAY affect fertility, but there are plenty of men out there who have it who are NOT infertile.
as with endometriosis, surgery for varicocele may or may not improve the man's fertility. but i think the evidence for it helping is weaker for varicocele.
the surgery is pretty quick and simple. but i would have a discussion with a reproductive endocrinologist and a urologist about whether it's worth a try.

My husband has one but they know that it is a very small one.
I got a BFP 2 days ago. It took a while but we are older and I have known problems.
