i would like to try for a VBAC this time around.
i will be delivering in suffolk county, can anyone recommend an OB or a midwife practice that encourages VBACs? TIA!

Re: VBAC and doctors
I too have been searching for an OB that is pro-VBAC in Suffolk. Im having a hard time finding one.
I went for my first OB appointment at Contemporary Woman's Care and Dr. McKenna told me that they really wont do a VBAC. So even though I really like them, I am also looking for a new OB that is pro-VBAC. Let me know if you find one!

stonybrook midwives. Their # 444-4686. You will have a much better chance for a VBAC with a midwife.

this is who I see... not pregnant yet but we already talked about VBAC... the midwife said when the time comes they usually allow you go to into labor and deliver vaginally up to 38 weeks, after that would be a c-scetion. Not sure if that info was meant just for me or for everyone.
