Vegetable Garden
Does anyone know when I can start planting some vegetables? I hear mixed things and some say not before May 15th but I'm so anxious already.

You can actually plant earlier than most people think. I am using this calendar.
BHG Vegetable calendar
I filled in the frost dates 4/15 and 10/15
I added some other plants and I'll just use this each year and make adjustments as I learn.

Certain veggies like beans can be planted earlier but delicate plants like tomatoes need it to be a little warmer.

YOu can start planting seeds indoors and then transplant them to your garden when it gets warmer.

I have all my stuff in the green house till midmay, then it goes in the ground. They sell empty plantiung tray that have clear "greenhouse' covers so you can start inside near a window & get the greenhouse effect.
