Veins
This might sound like an odd complaint, but I think I have developed a slight vericose vein on the front of my leg. Only I would probably notice it. I am 30 and I haven't had children or anything. (I have heard that people may get them when they are pregnant.) I do stand on my feet almost all day as I am a teacher. Although I obviously don't like how it might look, the worst problem is that I have an issue with veins in general. Guess I need to get ove r that. Does anyone know if there is any way to prevent more from appearing? Please don't think I'm nuts. :ahh

Re: Veins
you can get support stockings. I know it sounds "old" but alot of people, in professions that require them to be on their feet all day, wear them. I think the pressure it produces helps increase blood circulation in the legs

Re: Veins
I have some, and I have not had kids yet. I'm 23 yrs old and i've probably had them since I was about 17 yrs old. I think they're hereditary b/c my dad has them and so does my grandma. I wish there was a way to prevent them!

Re: Veins
My mom said that my grandmother has them pretty bad, but obviously she is much, much older!! My mom doesn't have them. I guess it might have skipped a generation, lucky me. I like the idea of wearing the stockings, but I am always so darned hot!
