Vent - work priorities
My bosses whim changes as often as the coworker outside my office farts (and that is alot.. believe me...)
Yesterday, 10:45AM - "You need to work on project A, get this done"
Yesterday, 2:00PM - "What are you working on?" Umm.. I'm working on Project A. "Oh, thats not high priority, stop that and work on project B".
Today, 11AM - "You really need to get working on Project C. I know you're busy, and emerencies crop up, and there is all this trivial minutia, but we really need this project C done"
Aaaarghhhhhhhhh

I'm sitting at my desk now, and I really, truly don't know what to do. I have a list of 15 things to do, and I don't know what to start. And I'm not talking about 15 things that take an hour a pop.. some of these projects are ones that will take days or weeks, and he knows it. Yet he has me switching between them every 15 minutes. 
Then in the next breath he tells me its bad to mulitask, even though I am a woman.

I can totally relate to how you are feeling. It feels like you are being tossed around in a dryer sometimes! Some bosses have no clue thats why they hire
smart women

I used to have that at my old job. But I stuck with my priorities. I knew exactly what needed to be done and in what time frame. Yeah yeah I am working on what you told me right now. Haahaha sorry we had to push back the new release 2 weeks or a month.
