Vent about my shopping trip to Tanger (and lack of "cute" toddler clothes)
I love having a boy, but after going to Tanger Riverhead yesterday I HATE that there is such a lack of cute toddler clothes for boys. Everything is so boyish (ie brown, orange, sports, etc). I know, I know, I have a boy, but still. Even in Carters they had the girls Christmas dresses out but NOTHING for boys. And don't even get me started on that new store Nartikee (probably so wrongly spelled) and Gymboree. Its like 30% boys and 70% girls.
I just miss the cuter baby boy stuff. Not ready for this!!!

I'm the opposite-I hate the babyish boy stuff and was happy to pick up some more "manly" boy clothes for DS

see I'm a true girly girl so it took me a while to be ok with baby blue clothes. Now to go into the olive green, orange, navy, sports stuff, its gonna be a challenge!!!

I am with you. I love dressing DS is cute little boy clothes. Animals on the butt are my favorite. A pet peeve of mine is dressing children like miniature adults. It just bothers me for some reason.

this is how I am too. The less cutesy, character/trucks/baseballs on it, the better.
OP - have you tried old navy?
and surprisingly KMart I recently discovered on a fluke has adorable boy clothes.

Target had some really cute long sleeved ts for 4.00! They weren't too babyish, but not older! My son loves shirts with animals or cars, robots, air planes on them!

me too! I mean I know my future its t-shirts, hoodies, jeans, cargo pants etc, but I'd like to hang on to the cute clothes (ie baby/toddler) just a little longer than 19 months.

Kerry, I totally hear you. It actually pains me to walk into some of these stores and see the 80:20 ratio of girls:boys clothes.
