Vent/My Biggest Pet Peave...
I think my biggest pet peave is when people make comments about what you are eating.
Like - when you are eating something healthy that you wouldn't normally eat, someone in my office will say - ooh salad....like just shut up and don't make a comment.
Then if you are eating something not so healthy, like pizza....they make a comment like "pizza....lots of calories in that"....
This is how my office is anyway...
So I follow a fairly low carb diet....so the guys here were going to dunkin donuts and I asked them to get me a cookie.
They were all like - don't do it! don't do it! You just ate a salad Lauren!"
So what? I had a salad, and now I feel like a cookie! They are the ones who initiated the dunkin donuts run! I don't do this everyday and even if I did- WHO CARES! stay outta my business!!
OK vent over...

I Get that at work as well. when they see me go to the vending machine, they say you could have that. just because i'm in w.w., that doesn't mean i can't have a snack

Thankfully my office is small and we all like to eat crap  AND we are next to Burger King a great pizza place a great chinese place and Dunkin Donuts is right in front of us.

But that's just it - we all eat like crap sometimes - and they are the ones going to dunkin donuts.....so who are they to say anything?
It just aggravates me....

Thankfully no one ever says anything where I work! When I was a hairdresser still....a whole other story there! Like they were personally counting my caloric intake for the day!

I use to hide in my office when I would eat Yummy Greasy food! LOL I didn't want to hear the comments. Sadly, those days are over.

I am pregnant (and mind you, I am 19 weeks and lost 13 lbs, and have only gained four total) and my boss came in the other day and said "you better watch what you are eating, you don't want to get too fat even though you are pregnant"

ugh! this annoys me too. i used to work at a company and the top boss would "disallow" certain foods that she felt were unhealthy. she would call certain people out if they were eating french fries or popcorn...so rude!!

see, i think that's just overstepping one's boundaries...who is anyone to dictate what is allowed and not allowed in terms of food?

This is one of my biggest pet peeves too. My boss ALWAYS makes a comment about what I am eating. Even its just "Oh your having pizza today" YES - I am having pizza, why does it have to be announced?? That's why I wait for him to leave for his daily 2 hour lunch break before I eat. It's so bad that on Friday, my empty pizza box was in the garbage and he STILL had to say "oh you had pizza for lunch today" Leave me alone!

i HATE this!!!!!!!!!!
DH & i were actually at a party this weekend and a girl we didnt know laughed and said, "oh you guys dont eat the green stuff?" umm, sorry it's Saturday night and we werent in the mood for salad but if we knew our mom was there we wouldve taken some apparently some people have no social skills and nothing interesting to say.
