vent-questions-etc
So this morning i went in to get checked and I only have 5 follicles growing on my left side.
A bit of background...did IVF at another RE office back in 2012 and conceived my lo (8 retrieved and had 1 embie to transfer). Did a 2nd round November 2014 and had 5 retrieved and had 2 embies to transfer, none took). That old RE never did one test on me.
Fast forward to February and saw a new RE and basically told me i had 6 months left to be able to use my eggs due to low reserve ( HOLY shocker considering all along this was a sperm issue from 2011-2014 with old RE).
So today I go in and my right side is usually the side with the most follicles and the left i usually have two that are larger.
I only have five and all on my left.
I know it's early on in the process but can this really change? Has anyone had this happen to them where after 4 nights of meds there was NOTHING showing on one side and then they suddenly appear?
I am trying to stay positive but this is HARD!
Anyone take lupron and find that their cycle was worse than without it? I never took it before and i'm wondering if this has anything to do with it?

No experience with this but want to send 
It's so frustrating when you realize things that should've been done but wasn't. For that, I can relate.

I had the same thing my last cycle. I had zero on one side at my first monitoring appt and then after a few more days, a whole bunch appeared out of nowhere. It's possible! Too bad I had zero to transfer. Good luck!!

I have PCOS and poor egg quality and my IVF cycle with Lupron was horrendous. It over suppressed me big time.

I have very little reserve almost zero left. last round nothing on left side and one struggled to make a sighting on the R. Last time my left ovary did all the work and my right struggled to make 2. You never know when the girls are going to keep in and start working

Yes, I have a friend who had follies growing & they stimmed her a week longer than me (we started same time). We both got Lupron (I needed supression in the past, she had super low reserve).
My stims went well (relatively), but my fertilization wasn't great. Her stimms were like yours & they pushed her a bit longer.
She ended up with 2 embies.
I ended up with ONLY 1.
We both are expecting!
It does only take 1....
