VENT-Why does painting S*CK?!?!
I have about 3 rooms left and I DREAD IT SO MUCH!!!
Dh would NOT let me hire someone to paint...wanted me to be "part" of the house repair/construction.
And I also am not good at it.
Ok, vent over.

ugh, we started with this last weekend, only put a coat of primer in one room and it was so much work!

I painted all weekned. Yesterday when I got home from work I did some more painting today after work I will be painting. I cannot wait to be done, doing the ceiling is the worst!! Just keep looking on the bright side your rooms will look like new and your arms will be in great shape.

I hate it too! We were just at my Grandfather's house over the weekend painting. We only got the primer done and I was ready to quit!

We will be painting our new house starting Thursday. I hate painting in the last 2 years DH and I painted our whole house, plus our 3 BR upstairs apartment. Now we will be painting again

I agree with you Deb! It does s*ck! But the end result will be great. We have to paint our new house too. We have 12 rooms to do and that includes the apartment in the house.  Hopefully my arms will look great after that.

Painting does stink. trust me I know. We painted our whole main floor of the house. The only place we didn't paint yet is the basement. The wallpaper removal was no fun either. We had to do that in all rooms and then paint.
But all I can say is that it is worth every second of it in the end. I love the way our house turned out with the colors we selected and painted!
