Verizon Blackberry Users- Question
I just got a blackberry.
I noticed i do not have an AIM or AOL option on my phone. If i sign off my computer people can IM me and it goes through the text service. but i cant see my buddy list.
Is there any way to get AIM or AOL on this thing? That is the one thing i really need.

Re: Verizon Blackberry Users- Question
If you download the AIM app from Verizon (its on their site) it counts as text messages..incoming AND outgoing so this comes out of your texting plan.
Download jivetalk, this links you to yahoo, AIM and Microsoft and is part of your data package, no extra charges etc.
It has a 30 day trial but its either $20 or $30 if you choose to keep it.

Check and make sure that your unlimited texting is to ALL carriers and not just Verizon b/c if you IM someone on verizon it will deduct your text messages. There is no IN for AIM.
And truthfully, I prefer jivetalk to the aim app for the BB from verizon.
