Verizon Internet users Q
We had Verizon internet service at our apt. & recently moved & now are using Optimum. I called V & asked where to return the modem & they told me I didn't need to b/c it was more than a year old.
Has anyone else heard this?
I just don't want to get a "rental" fee a year from now.

nope they usually don't want the modem back. put it some where for a little while and then get rid of it.

We just got rid of this and the cable people took it with them when they installed the optimum.

If you had the service for 1 year and didn't break your contract, the modem is yours to keep. You can throw it away.
