Verizon return policy on new phone

I have been using my Samsung Glyde phone for almost a month and I'm really not happy with it. I know you can exchange a phone within 30 days if it is in new condition. I've never dropped it and it is not scratched, but it doesn't have the plastic on it anymore or anything.

Has anyone ever returned a phone they weren't happy with? Did they give you a hard time? I bought it at BestBuy.

The policy is you can try it for 30 days.
So it doesn't matter that the plastic is off or that you have been using it for the 30 days- that is why they have the policy- so you can try it out for 30 days and return it with no questions asked.

Best Buy is very good about it- just make sure you get there before the 30 days are up.

I thought the policy was 15 days "try-it-out" period.

If you're persistent enough, you'll get your way. Call the customer service # - they have the authority to authorize much more than the store does.

I just bought my Verizon Blackberry at Best Buy- they told me 30 days to try it out.

Yeah I thought it was 14-15 days but maybe the carriers changed this.

Anyways its a full money back guarantee. You just pay for any airtime you used (if you got new service and are cancelling).

ITs ok if it doesnt have the plastic on it-at least it wasnt a big deal when DH returned his phone

I believe it is 30 days

I purchased an EnV phone, and then a month later the EnV 2 came out and I was pizzed

I called and even though it was 34 days, they let me and DH exchange everything, including my chargers!

They recently changed it to 30 days. It doesn't matter if it is slightly used. What are you going to get instead?

Yes, it's 30 days. I don't think the plastic will matter but I think you do have to have the box.

i returned a phone last year after trying it out for 3 weeks - it was no problem - you need to have the box and all the componets in the box - the pone doesn't need to have the plastic on

the important part is that the bar code must be still part of the box

you can only return one phone - so if you don't like the next one you are stuck
