Vertical blinds shopping...NEED ADVICE
Anyone have recommendations?
Things that are a mUST or things to stay away from?
Are the fabric ones that much more expensive? worth it ? pros/cons?
This is for a bow window. would you make them the length of the window or floor length? (the window is about up to my waist/ribs) Id say window length because I have toddlers in the house
any suggestions or ideas or place to get them would be great.
thanks!

We just recently replaced our bow window and I actually ordered the wood blinds from blinds to go. Our bow has 4 panes and i ordered a set for each window. with blinds to go they get the blinds for you in 2 days.

did you have to drill holes into the wood border of the new window?
thats what we wanted to avoid incase we change our mind down the road.
do you have pics of what youre takling about? thanks!

Re: Vertical blinds shopping...NEED ADVICE
the guy came today to measure and to install them you will need to drill holes. i don't have the blinds yet they are getting installed on saturday. i am having him put them on the inside of as close as they can go to the window. I totally understand where you are coming from its such a big decision and you don't want to mess it up. i have been thinking it about for a long time. when we get the blinds if you want i can send you a pic on saturday.

I have vertical blinds over my kitchen sliding glass doors. We purchased them at Home Depot (Lowes also sells them) and we got white ones - the store can cut them for you if you need them to be.

Re: Vertical blinds shopping...NEED ADVICE
I just realized that you were talking about verticals. we didn't order verticals. we ordered the horizontal wood blinds. do you still want me to take the pics or are you only interested in verticals?

I would have liked to see the picture, but since you said you had to drill into the frame, we prob wont go with that. but I was open to other options. =)
but thanks so much for offering, I am looking for verticals.
thanks again!
