vertical space btwn your microwave hood and your gas stove?
What is the standard (and safe) amount of space required between the top of your stove and the bottom of your over the range microwave hood?

There is 19.5" vertical space on mine. Not sure if this is standard or not, but that what was there when we moved in.

I believe it has to be 18 or 19 inches.
