Very dumb question about tights and onesies...
I'm getting my DD dressed for Turkey Day in one of her little dresses. She is 7 weeks and this is the first time I'm putting her in a little dress. I'm putting a onesie under the dress.
My stupid question of the day: Do the tights go over or under the onesie? Intuition tells me under, but I have two kinds- one with ruffles on the tush and one without. Ruffles can't go under the onesie, that would be just plain silly!
Please help

Never had to think of this until now.
Good thing you posted because I'd have the same question in an hour or so
Tights definitely over the onesie for the ruffles so I'd probably do the same for the other.

I've seen it done both ways...I put the tights on under the onesie...so that the tights don't droop or sag down and bother her.

ruffles definitely on the outside!!
But I normally put the onsie or diaper cover over the tights to keep them on better.

Over the onesie. I had a ton of onesies if there was a leakthrough. I never had a ton of tights. Ruffles over everything.

I tried putting them on the outside for some pics yesterday and they did keep slipping off so I am going to try inside.

For the one without ruffles I would put it under the onesie. That way when the dress ends up bunched around her waist she looks covered up.

Funny you say that, because I think the exact opposite - I think she'll look covered up if the tights are on the outside!

Thanks ladies! I ended up using the tights w/o the ruffles and putting them on the outside without any slipping issues
I guess there is no wrong or correct way, so it wasn't the world's dumbest question afterall. Hope everyone's Turkey Day was good!
