I havent been diagnosed, but 99.99.99% sure I do have it.
Im not sure that I want to take meds, but I do have my own strategies to work with that help me stay focused and get things done.
Part of me wants to get diagnosed, and part of me doesnt want to for several reasons...
Id love to know if there are afew of us on here, maybe we can get together.
I was told by a Professor in the Special Ed field, that the only thing I will get if I get diagnosed is meds, there is nothing else done for it...
Im doing my own research on that. Im sure there are many things available (organizational strategies, and related things) to help cope.
It's not such a terrible thing to have, there are pros and cons as with everything. but I do know the tough parts of it.

Not true that you will only get meds ! There are other ways to treat ADD that don't involve medication

No official diagnosis...but I was referred to treatment when I went back to school a couple of years ago...their answer was to put me on medication which helped some at the time..but it caused my blood pressure to rise way to high.
