Very pretty "lacy" bras
I see these ads for beautiful, intricate and lacy bras everywhere, and I have always wondered....who buys these???
I admit that I always gravitate towards beautiful bras, but the minute I try them on under a shirt it looks like lumpsville. The bras that I end up buying are seamless and not that cute, but they are the only ones that actually "do the job".
Is anyone with me here? If you do buy the lacy bras, what kind of shirts do you feel like you can wear them under? I don't know...I just always need a little lift, and the pretty bras don't do that for me.

I just bought this bra from Victoria Secret. I LOVE it! It gives me a nice and perky lift, is very girly looking and it does not show under my tops now matter how tight the top is.

Re: Very pretty "lacy" bras
i have a few lacy bras that i might wear under a sweater since i usually wear a tank or tee also
but 95% of the time i wear my body by victoria's because they're a) comfortable and b) smooth under shirts
lacy bras are sometimes too stiff and itchy as well

I totally hear ya and have wondered that myself-- I mean-- you can only wear a bulky sweater over those things.
I think they are meant to be worn when you are wearing nothing else.
I agree-- they are beautiful but just not practical-- and bras are too expensive for them to not be "all purpose".

Re: Very pretty "lacy" bras
i am with you..I go for the lacy ones..even buy some of them but then like under a close fitting shirt it looks just bad...but it sucks because I do have some lacy ones that offer excellent lift ..but mostly everything I but now is smooth...
