Very stupid question about sunscreen...
So we're going to be heading out to the beach or the pool this morning and I'm going to be putting sunscreen on DD.
Since it's only 10:30 in the morning, that means it will stay on her until bathtime tonight.
Does anyone give DC a bath to get the sunscreen off when beach/pooltime is over? Or just go about the rest of the day and wait until bathtime at night?
(told u it was a stupid question! )

I just go about it and don't do anything until bathtime. I happen to like the smell of the baby sunscreen.

They get a bath at night when they wear suncreen most of the time, depends on how dirty or grimy they got where we were.

I do not bathe DS to get sunscreen off. My Ped. told me to use it even for walks outside.

Re: Very stupid question about sunscreen...
I usuallly give DD a bath after the pool or beach specifically to remove the lotion and don't wait until the ususal bath time. I hate the way I feel after having sun tan lotion on and I am not too fond of the smell.

Re: Very stupid question about sunscreen...
I don't do anything - my ped has me use it even for walks so I would be bathing her all day if I did that - I would just maybe wash their hands so if they have it on their hands it isn't going into their mouths.

Re: Very stupid question about sunscreen...
If she's out of the sun early, I wipe DD's face with wipes or even just wash it with a washcloth, also her hands. Then she definitely gets a bath every time she's got sunscreen on, and her sheet gets changed if she napped in her crib with it on before bath time.
I'm a freak trying to keep her skin flawless

Re: Very stupid question about sunscreen...
I give a bath that night, but I usually just wipe it off with a wash cloth or baby wipe once we are out of the sun for the day.
Not a stupid question at all!
