Vet recommendations - Centereach area?
We are getting our new kitties this weekend, and I need a new vet. The one I have always used is in commack, it would be better to have one closer to our new house. TIA!

Re: Vet recommendations - Centereach area?
I have a mobile vet - Dr Pete. He comes to our house, and works out of Hauppauge Animal HOspital on Tuesdays (you would need to bring them in for spaying/neutering). It works out great cause my one cat HATES the car, and has accidents if we try to bring her in there. It is a tiny bit more for him to come to the house, but totally worth it. FM if interested and I will get his numbers.

I use Dr. Dring at Just Cats Health Care. She's on Belle Meade Road in S. Setauket.

I use Jefferson Animal Hospital in Port Jeff Station on Route 112. I used to drive from Brooklyn to use them, I love them there. 473-0415

Re: Vet recommendations - Centereach area?
We used the animal hospital on Jericho Tpk. Its Dr. Greco's office although we used the female dr there, I can't remember her name.
I really liked it there, they were amazingly caring! Lucy had a ruptured ear drum and even under mild sedation bit one of hte techs, when I said I was sorry, she was like, are you crazy the poor thing was in so much pain. After it all healed and for the 2 years since, when ever a vet goes near her ears she goes nuts, but they are so gentle and really work with her, they are the only ones who can look in her ears.
Who si teh vet you used in Commack, we just moved from Centereach to Smithtown and I havent yet found a vet I like here.

Commack Animal Hospital on Jericho Tpk. They have been around forever - we brought my cat there for 15 years, and the cat we had before her too. They have a few differnt doctors, but we saw Dr. Koslow the most often.
