Island Trees Veterinarians are great. My DHs aunt brings all her pets there, even her exotics.
I go to Huntington to My Pet's Vet. They are great if the ride is not an issue for you.
If you need an emergency clinic, there is one in Westbury off of Brush Hollow Road.
