Veterinarian Recommendations Needed
There will be a new addition to our family mid December.
We are getting a puppy !!!
I'm researching veterinarians and would appreciate any feedback (positive or negative).

Veterinarian Recommendations Needed
I've heard good things about the East Village Green. My neighbor uses them. I dont have direct experience
If you want another recommendation, let me know. Mine is in Hicksville

I don’t have any experience with the hospitals you’ve mentioned but we personally use East Bay Vet in merrick. Dr Gary Selmonsky and Dr Amanda Maltese. Been using them for almost 15 years now. Emergencies, well visits and everything in between. we had to put our rottie down in January (we knew 2020 was going to suck from then) and they were all wonderful there. I trust them whole heartedly. We lived in nassau when we started with them. Have moved to Suffolk and will not go anywhere else. They’ve always gone above and beyond for my babies.
A neighbor of mine uses Massapequa Pet Vet and she likes them a lot.

So sorry about your rottie. I know the feeling, we lost our 12 year old lab in March.
We traveled to a vet in RVC for years but we would like to find a new one closer to home this time.

Mid Island Animal hospital, Dr. Kornet (worked for him after high school). On Old Country Rd. Saved my dog when he found her cancer, other Vets, including the Animal Medical center in NYC were amazed that he found it on physical exam. He is very very thorough. My dog was Dx in 2009, prognosis was 18 month, I was blessed to have her 4 more years until the age of 15, in the end cancer came back in 2013.
My friend just brought her dog to him for a second opinion
